About

Founded in Calgary, Alberta, Surreal creates clean-burning coconut soy candles and diffuser rituals that give back to inclusive community spaces.

Rejecting the synthetic, embracing clean warmth and community.

In 2016, Surreal started on a kitchen stove with a commitment to bring natural, non-toxic wood wick candles to Canadian homes. We craft every candle with premium plant-based coconut soy wax and phthalate-free fine fragrance oils.

More than just candles, Surreal is driven by social impact. With every purchase, $1 is directly donated to non-profits fostering inclusive employment and community belonging.

Wholesale & corporate gifting

We collaborate with retailers, corporate partners, and events on custom scent developments, custom labelling, and wholesale orders.
